We made it to London!!! We are now sitting in the Admiral's Club in the London Airport for our 12 hour layover. Yep...you read that correctly. 12 hours!!! But they have the most AMAZING showers here. After 8 hours of sitting on a plane, that shower feels like heaven!!!
The first leg of our journey was quite an adventure. Let's just say there was a problem with the air conditioning, flickering lights, and problems with the movie channels (just to name a few). We laughed when we saw the flight attendants give each other big hugs when we landed....They were as happy as we were that the flight was over! But even with all those issues, we are so excited to get here, and to know that we are that much closer to our destination. Just think...the next time we write to you, we'll be in Uganda. Please pray that we get some sleep on our next flight! We want to "hit the ground running" tomorrow morning, but are in need of some good rest!
