It's Tamra and first, just let me say that I'm really tired right now. Although we all got up really early, I didn't feel tired throughout the day. It just hit me after dinner.
We had to request an earlier breakfast because school starts early in the morning. Kim, the kids, and I were introduced at the morning assembly and given a great welcome. Once they headed to class, I got each of the kids plugged in to a class for their level and then we adults had a meeting with the manager of New Hope. When the meeting was over, I headed to class. I was just observing and was fortunate to observe the class that Raegan was attending. That allowed us to reflect a bit together.
Uncle Robert, the math teacher for the Upper Primary school, met with me about doing some tutoring. I have 37 students that I'll be pulling out in groups of 2 for remediation on areas of difficulty. As you can imagine, having this many students to tutor will keep me quite busy. Twenty students are in P7, which means they need to advance to secondary school soon. The remaining 17 are from P6, so they have a little more time. Based on this information and the amount of time the students are available, I devised a plan (at least guideline) that will allow me to work with all 20 of the P7 kids everyday and the P6 kids at least every other day. I do believe this is going to keep me quite busy.
Fortunately, the kids enjoyed their classes, so they'll have stuff to do as well. I'll let them tell you about their experiences.
Please continue to pray for us to follow God's path and to embrace whatever he has for us.
